Exactly 2:45am i looked out the window and saw a flaming reddish orange oval in the lower horizon It wasn't moving sideways but with approx 30 seconds it disappeared downwards It may have disappeared behind the mountains in the far distance 10-15 miles away May have been over Texada island or even Vancouver island There is an Air Force base at Comox I had just enough time to take photo with my iPhone Although the color was glowing orange At first I thought it was a blood moon over the horizon but that doesn't make sense I'm not a believer in UFO s but what I saw was very peculiar and unexplainable.
