On the evening of 11/22/12 at around 6:15pm I went out the front door of our house to have a cigar. I saw a series of orange orbs in the night sky. Most of them were in a perfect, equidistant line. I ran back inside and told my wife and friend to come out. The orbs stayed in position for a short time and and then they started slowly moving.

We were all out on the sidewalk not really believing what we were seeing. They definitely were not flares. They were perfectly round, did not leave a light trail and did not make a sound. They were very bright orange. I would say they were maybe a little smaller than the size of dime if you held it out in front of you.

We just stood there and watched and noticed one was dimming and then another one appeared out of thin air when the dim one disappeared. Two more appeared when others disappeared then the rest of them slowly disappeared.

None of them ever touched and the movements weren't all in the same direction. Some moved left, some right, some up. There was no wind on the ground. The whole thing lasted maybe 10 minutes. My wife tried to get video on her phone of them moving but it didn't save. I did get a still shot but since it was night it's blurry. The lights are all dots in the picture and don't really show the size or color very well. All were the same ... uniform, spherical ... and they all dimmed the same way.

Hard to judge how far away they were. Appeared to be over or beyond a small hill that's across the road and on the other side of the river. Maybe a mile or two. I've seen a lot of things in the sky: flares, Chinese lanterns, fireworks, planes of all sort. I've never seen anything like this.
